More great news for March '09 - with Goldblade support at the Horn!
Dear Scratchers,
We can now confirm that following some typically tenacious negotiation, 'our Tina', has in conjunction with Hansi at the Horn and Goldblade's manager Phil secured us the main support slot for the opening night of Goldblade's UK tour on the night of our first 'Friday special' at the Horn on Friday 27th March. Tickets will be available soon (we will let you know from where as soon as they are!) Tickets will be priced at £6 in advance and £7 on the door (Half of the price of the bands London dates). It is expected to be a sell out, so stick the date in your diary and get your credit cards ready for what promises to be a fantastic night, we will also be picking our own support for the night from one of St.Albans many excellent local bands.
You can check out Goldblade and their excellent new single with Poly Styrene from XRay Spex, by just clicking on their picture in our myspace top friends.

The Scratch - BBC radio debut
John and Andy took a trip to Luton tonight to meet Kelly Betts and Gareth LLoyd of BBC 3 Counties radio, on their BBC Introducing programme. In a hectic show featuring three or four local bands, a tricycle race around the building and a hunt the band lost in Luton. The guys took the chance to plug the NSPCC Charity gig on 18th Dec and give the show an exclusive play of next single Against the Grain. Thanks to Kelly for the opportunity of The Scratch's BBC radio debut.
